We are delighted to invite stakeholders, industry partners, and healthcare professionals to the CERSI-PGx Workshop: Outcomes and Next Steps. Taking place on 20–21 January 2026 in London, this in-person event will showcase the progress made by our five dedicated Work Packages and identify critical next steps for the sustainability of pharmacogenomics in the UK.

A Comprehensive Two-Day Programme

Led by Professor Sir Munir Pirmohamed, the workshop features a prestigious lineup of speakers, including Professor Dame Sue Hill (Chief Scientific Officer for England, NHS England) and Dr. Alison Cave (Chief Safety Officer, MHRA).

Attendees will gain direct insights into:

  • Guidelines & Industry: Updates on regulatory pathways and industry collaboration (WPs 1 & 2).
  • Education & Implementation: The launch of our training initiatives and public engagement strategies (WPs 3 & 5).
  • Health Economics: Evaluating the value and sustainability of PGx in clinical settings (WP 4).

Networking and Collaboration

Held at the Royal College of Pathologists, the event provides ample opportunity for networking during breakout groups and refreshment sessions. This is a vital forum for stakeholders to contribute to the discussion on how we move from research to real-world clinical implementation.
