We would like to extend an invitation to all our CERSI-PGx friends and colleagues to join us at the next CERSI-PGx on-line workshop to be held on 10 September 2026 from 1 pm to 4.30 pm. As many of you know, we have been liaising with MHRA, NICE, the NHS, Industry and academia to map the most important modifiable issues which currently hamper innovation and uptake of PGx. We have been tackling key areas in our work over the past 18 months; guidance, pharmacogenomic testing, education and training, and health economics, with a cross-cutting PPIE work package to support the project.
We are working with all four nations collaboratively to achieve our aim of catalysing the innovative strategies for incorporating pharmacogenomics into the regulatory pathways in the UK. Our ultimate goal is to position the UK at the forefront of pioneering pharmacogenomic advancements.
This workshop will inform our colleagues and partners of the progress made in supporting regulators, health professionals and patients and the broader economy. We are delighted that Professor Espen Molden of the University of Oslo will give a presentation on the ‘Complementary use of PGx and TDM in precision dosing of antidepressants’
